We are looking for a producer and two interns for the Espoo Ciné Film Festival 2026. One of the interns will work in the Communications and Marketing team, and the other in the Production team. The 37th edition of Espoo Ciné will take place in Espoo and Helsinki from 21–30 August 2026. Working days are mainly on weekdays during office hours, except during the festival weeks (21–30 August 2026), when work may also take place on evenings and weekends. The work is primarily carried out at the Espoo Ciné office in Tapiola.

We are seeking a producer for a new Cinéstesia programme strand, which will be launched in collaboration with the Saastamoinen Foundation as part of the Espoo Ciné Film Festival 2026. The programme combines film and visual arts and includes film screenings as well as a professional event.
As a producer, you have a strong, practical, and professional approach to event organisation and communications, as well as to related schedules and processes. You will help ensure the smooth implementation of this new programme as part of the wider festival, working in cooperation with international experts and artist guests as well as various programme and event partners. You have strong organisational and teamwork skills. We value a demonstrated ability to communicate artistic content in a compelling and accessible way, as well as insight into effectively reaching the programme’s target audiences.
The employment contract is for six months, starting on 1 April or as agreed. The proposed salary is €2,700 per month, plus a small compensation for the use of your own equipment.
Are you interested in films, communications, and event production? We are looking for a Communications and Marketing Intern and a Production Intern to assist with the preparation, production and communications and marketing of the Espoo Ciné Film Festival from summer to early autumn 2026. The internship period is 2.5 months between summer and early autumn 2026. The salary is €1,463 per month, plus a small compensation for the use of your own equipment. We require that the intern is eligible for internship support granted by a higher education institution.
You will work closely with the festival team and have the opportunity to apply your skills in a variety of communications and production tasks.

We expect enthusiasm for event production, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Experience with social media channels and creating social media videos is considered an advantage. In return, we offer you a chance to get a behind-the-scenes look at a film festival and gain valuable work experience in the fields of film and communications. Excellent Finnish language skills are required for this position.
You will be able to utilise your skills creatively in a variety of tasks related to festival event production.
