The Yellow Sulphur Sky is a bittersweet film about the difficulty to hold on to love and friendship during decades. The main character of the film, the middle-class Frej, who tries to be an author, falls madly in love with the upper-class girl Stella Rabell and is fascinated by the life of her wealthy family.

When Alex, Stella’s older brother, now the CEO of Rabell’s business empire, has been stabbed on the street, Frej has to walk down the memory lane of his youth and later decades which are full of forceful experiences of love and jealousy, life and death. The Yellow Sulphur Sky is a story about class distinction and about the social game in which friendship and suspicion alter over the years.
