The night screening from last year continues! This year, we celebrate the 20th anniversary of Children of Bodom's album "Hate Crew Deathroll."
The night will begin with a panel discussion moderated by Timo Isoaho. The speakers include the band members Henkka Seppälä, Janne Wirman, Jaska Raatikainen, former guitarist Alexander Kuoppala, and the album's recording engineer, Anssi Kippo from Astia Studio.
The screening will include Children of Bodom's live performances recorded by YLE at Tuska-festival in 2003 and Nosturi in 2007. Additionally, during the night, one of the band's favorite movies, Miloš Forman's "Amadeus," will be shown.
Band members Henkka, Janne, and Jaska commented on the new collaboration, saying, "It is an honor to be part of the Espoo Ciné program in 2023. It's wonderful that the spirit of Bodom can be seen and heard in 2023, in Tapiola, just a stone's throw away from where it all began some thirty years earlier. Welcome to the all-night screening, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Hate Crew Deathroll!”
