Crip Ciné visits KAMU Junior 2

Crip Ciné brings documentaries and fiction films depicting the lives of disabled people to the big screen, as well as works by disabled filmmakers that challenge stereotypes surrounding disability. The themed programme, which has been part of Espoo Ciné for five years, now continues with free pop-up screenings on the Crip Ciné kylässä tour, which this year also includes, for the first time, Crip Ciné kylässä Junior, aimed at children. To celebrate the festival, we are visiting KAMU, the City Museum of Espoo, at WeeGee, where all four Crip Ciné kylässä programmes will be screened. The screenings are part of KAMU’s Free Friday programme.

The following screenings will be shown at the screening:

Pablo Leridon: The Friendship School Taxi (Les petits monstres, France 2024; fiction, running time 13 min, in French)
A car journey shared by friends turns into a sharp and humorous exchange of words.
Zoé Pelchat: The Entrance Exam (C'est ma soeur, Canada 2022; fiction, running time 15 min, in French)
Camille encounters an unexpected situation at a dance school entrance audition.
Justine Martin: Summer Moments (Oasis, Canada 2022; documentary, running time 12 min, in French)
Growing up takes the brothers in different directions, but their shared summer moments remain in their memories.
