Tell Me What You Feel

Powiedz mi, co czujesz

Patryk moves to the city, meets Maria and falls deeply in love. Together, they struggle with themselves, their past traumas and class differences. How to be and grow with another person, without letting differences come in between? Are different growing environments an obstacle or can they be beneficial?

The classic trope of a country boy falling for a city girl gets new points of view in Łukasz Ronduda’s new film. The two leads are confident in their roles, and captivate the viewer with their presence. Coming to terms with your past under someone else’s gaze is never easy and Ronduda approaches the subject without hesitation, refusing to shy away from its darker aspects. Summery Warsaw provides a beautiful and strong background, even as the young pair lives mainly in their own bubble. The passion and cruelty of youth are clearly visible.
