Geneviève Dulude-De Celles’ second movie is a delicate and lingering story about people, who are searching for themselves or pieces of themselves. Mihail cannot stand his past, his daughter would like to know more about it. Language becomes a focal point: Mihail thinks in French and refuses to speak bulgarian. His daughter would like to teach bulgarian to her own son. Like a song that plays in the movie a couple times called ”One bulgarian rose”, you should remember where you come from.
