Accept Our Sincere Apologies is a hypnotic psychological drama set in a luxurious yet ominously shadowed Venetian hotel. At the center of the story is Eva (Oskar Grzelak and Kacper Grzelak),  a young hotel manager whose carefully controlled daily life begins to unravel when a mysterious Contessa (Krista Kosonen) enters her world. Kosonen delivers one of the most compelling international performances of her career: magnetic, threatening, and enigmatic Contessa seems to dominate every room she steps into. The psychological duel between Contessa and Eva turns the hotel into a labyrinthine stage for their psychological duel — a place from which neither seems able to escape. 

Juja Dobrachkous’ direction blends gothic elements, dreamlike atmosphere, and documentary roughness into a work that is beautifully unsettling. Kosonen’s compelling acting embodies the core of the movie, leaving the viewer in a state of uneasy enchantment.
