Belgian-born Virginie Efira has quickly become a leading actress in France. In the impressive directorial debut of the French Delphine Deloget, Efira plays a single mother, Sylvie, who has to fight with the authorities for the custody of her children. Sylvie works in a shabby nightclub and her sons John-Jaques (Félix Lefebvre) and Sofiane (Alexis Tonetti) are at home together. After Sofiane has an accident, the social workers consider that Sylvie is no longer fit to take care of her children, and take the boys to a foster home. The determined woman decides to fight for her family at all costs.
