In their thirties, twins Jenna (Henna Tanskanen) and Joni (Lauri Tanskanen) discover that they have a third sibling. Sister Jóna (Elin Petersdottir) lives in Iceland, where Henna’s and Joni’s father spent time in his youth. How does it feel when the familiar childhood family suddenly expands, and familiar relationships take on new forms? Spanning over seven years, the movie portrays love stories, additions to the family, and also darker emotions of human existence, all happening in two countries. The unique filming approach, reminiscent of Richard Linklater's 'Boyhood,' presents the characters' life turns in an emotionally subtle yet powerful way.
