Amélie premiered 20 years ago, but the film’s perspective on life fascinates even now! The film – and especially Audrey Tautou’s role as the lovely Amélie – has stolen hearts around the world, and thus has become a classic.

After spending her whole childhood alone with her peculiar parents and imaginary friends, Amélie decides to move to the middle of Paris. However, she seems to be a bit lost with her life, until a surprising incident makes her realise how she can help others find their happiness. Her way of observing the world with curiosity and mysterious surrealism is the reason why it is so easy to be all smiles after the film.
