Our Men

Our Men is a story about two different french women waiting for their men to come back from the French foreign legion. The story has its focus on the tensions between the main couples as the women feel their love withdraw in the process of waiting and the men are becoming emotionally distant. Our Men is not an action film one watches waiting for the next tactical turn in the progression of the conflict, but rather – a film that is more concerned about the tension of waiting itself – a tension both at home and in the army. When love starts to withdraw more clearly and new options for life arise for the women, they are faced with a choice: to embrace their new opportunities, or wait for their loved ones to come back from the war zone?
