Quiet Freedom

Erik's retirement is approaching, and there is a sense of anticipation for a new phase of this new phase in life. However, the deteriorating health of Judith, Erik's wife, is a cause for concern. The situation is not eased by Judith's reluctance to accept the situation and accept outside help. Eric finds it difficult to follow his partner's distancing and struggles as everyday routines become harder and harder. The film is a story of a long partnership, loneliness and fear of the unknown. Will their love carry them through the challenges or will they drift apart?

The drama is a good portrayal of how illness not only affects the individual, but also the loved ones who also bear the burden.
