Love Will Save Us

Set in a small rural village in southern Sweden in 1986, this coming-of-age drama follows 18-year-old Fredrik and his synth-pop band as they prepare to play their first gig. However, Fredrik's troubled relationship with his girlfriend Nina, who dreams of leaving for Stockholm to pursue photography, is causing tension. To make matters worse, Fredrik's destructive parents add to the turmoil. As the weekend progresses, Fredrik's relationships and aspirations are put to the test, forcing him to confront the challenges of his past and present and make life-changing decisions.
