Sihja – kapinaa ilmassa

The life of Alfred, a kind and nature-loving city boy, veers off its usual tracks when he finds a spirited and tousle-haired fairy, Sihja, in the trunk of a car. Alfred and Sihja become friends, and with Sihja dashing around without any manners, Alfred has no choice but to follow her. Meanwhile, the adults around them are buzzing about a new fertiliser called Miraculous, which promises to eliminate weeds and make plants thrive.

When dead birds start appearing on the city streets, Alfred and Sihja find themselves embarking on an adventure that requires both courage and ingenuity. This film, which addresses friendship and environmental catastrophe, advocates for biodiversity and hints that sometimes one has to be a little naughty, especially when the entire surrounding nature is at stake.
